Union City Tweaker Jacob Lindemyer Visited A Local Smoothie King In Ann Arbor While Openly Wearing A Symbol Of Hate, As We All Know— Trump Is A Xenophobic Racist Bigot Who Is No Friend To Black People (See A History Of Trumps Racism Dating Back To The 1970s Here) Causing The Black Workers To Become Understandably Upset. I Have Obtained An Exclusive Interview With One Of The Women Working That Day.

I Was Also Able To Learn Before Conducting The Interview That They Were The Only People Working That Day, Which She Corroborates.

Spliffy: So Tell Me What Happened, And Anything Else You May Feel Is Important People Know.

Janiyah: On Sunday March first it was just me and my co worker alone all day, we were already stressed because sundays are always busy. After the rush this couple came in, there was 2 drive thru orders and 2 in house order, i was doing the in-house orders, while my co worker was doing the drive thru orders. The couple came in while we were doing the orders and i told them we would be with them in a moment. we see them giving us weird looks, and also noticed that the man was wearing a trump hoodie. we both felt uncomfortable after this. and the women asked us if there was an issue. When she said that i immediately started recording because of the tension. my co worker replied yes your husbands sweater is making us uncomfortable, while still taking the order. The women asks how a sweater is making her uncomfortable. and her husband immediately gets loud yelling “discrimination” that’s when i tell them we will be refusing service to them and to have a good day.

After this she decided to go facebook live and they continued to go back and forth with us. then finally agreed to leave after threatening to call the police on us and telling us to enjoy unemployment

when the woman’s video first started going viral on facebook they were liking all of the comments that were making threats and being racist towards us. but deleting all of the comments defending us.

Janiyah: A manager told me we got fired because of the video i posted, but the only reason i posted my video is because in her facebook live it jus showed us being loud, while in my video it shows us being calm until the meth head gets loud first.

I Was Unable To Obtain A Statement From The Other Employee, But They Were Both Fired As You Read Above. I Was Also Able To Talk to Other Employees Who Corroborated Her Story. Her And The Other Employee Were The Only Ones Working. That Means These 2 Were Left Unserved And Smoothie King Lost Out On That Sale. I Am Not Surprised That They Pretended To Not Understand Why Openly Wearing A Symbol Of Hatred On Your Sleeve— Quite Literally In This Instance, Would Make 2 Young Black Women Uncomfortabl. It Will Always Infuriate Me That People Are Allowed To Be Wilfully Ignorant To Their Own Casual Racism And Openly Deny And Continue To Perpetuate It Because They Themselves Are Not Openly Virulent Or Violent.
